Caitlyn Jenner is showing appreciation for her new look by giving a signed copy of her famous Vanity Fair cover to one of the surgeons who performed her facial feminization operation. The former Olympian can be seen on Instagram posing alongside Dr. Harrison Lee as she hands him the gift. "To Harrison great job thank you so much Caitlyn Jenner," the reality star wrote on the cover. The surgeon's assistant posted the moment, saying: "So impressed by my boss Dr. Harrison Lee's phenomenal work and being part of Caitlyn's transformation." Lee told the New York Daily News that the surgery took "all day" to perform and that he and fellow surgeon Dr. Gary Alter, who also performed the surgery on March 15, were happy with the results. "We knew it would be a long procedure," Lee said. "Everything was planned ahead of time, and we're very fortunate that everything has gone very well." Lee acknowledged being nervous prior to the 10-hour procedure. But it was Jenner who felt some anxiety after surgery. Jenner told Vanity Fair that she had a panic attack, thinking, "What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?" But she doesn't regret it. She said she is relieved that she can finally be her true self, telling the magazine: "If I was lying on my deathbed, and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life.'" Jenner revealed the results of her transition on the June 2015 cover of Vanity Fair and is up for the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYS in July. An eight-part documentary series illustrating the star's transition is set to air on the E! network starting July 26.
