Taylor Swift is now the proud owner of the domain names TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult.
The unexpected move comes months ahead of the wide release of the new top level domains (TDL) .porn, .adult and .sucks among many others, which will be up for grabs on June 1, according to CNN Money.
Before the domains become available in the summer, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICAAN) made it so that major brands and companies could buy their domain names.
Companies like Microsoft Office have also taken advantage of the grace period to secure domains like Office.porn and Office.adult, according to Stuart Lawley, CEO of ICM Registry.
Steve Miholovich, SVP of marketing at Safenames, told CNN Money companies don't like to be affiliated with negative things.
"They want positive images -- they want positive messages. They're not going to turn [.sucks] into a positive," he said.
Swift's decision to buy the adult entertainment TDL is one of the many moves that demonstrates her hands on approach to her career. In February, the singer revealed she shared rare bikini photos of herself on Instagram to depreciate the ones taken by paparazzi and she famously trademarked several phrases featured in her latest studio album 1989 in January.
Moreover, Swift is among the few artist who have removed their entire catalog from streaming site Spotify, calling the software an "experiment.".
