At least one person was killed and six others injured when a blast went off near Pakistan\'s southwest city of Quetta on Thursday morning, reported local media Dunya. According to the report, the blast took place at about 10:20 a. m. local time in Kuchlak, a town lying some 20 km to the northwest of Quetta, capital of Balochistan Province. The report quoted eyewitnesses as saying it was a suicide blast. One local TV channel Express said the blast occurred inside a mosque. All the injured have been shifted to nearby hospital. No further details about the blast are immediately available.
