At least 14 militants were killed in clashes with the security forces in Pakistan's northwestern town of Hangu on Sunday, Pakistan's (Geo News) reported. Security sources said that the search operation against the militants being conducted in different areas of Upper Orakzai led to the clashes that killed 14 militants. There are seven Pakistani tribal districts along the Afghan border, northwest the country, thought to be safe havens for militant groups, including Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, North Waziristan and South Waziristan.
