At least 15 people were killed and over 20 others injured as two passenger vans ran over people waiting at a bus stop in Pakistan's eastern Dera Ghazi Khan district on Thursday evening, local media reported. Express TV said that two overspeed vans coming from opposite direction lost control while crossing each other and hit people at Totak bus stop in Dera Ghazi Khan, a district located in the country's east Punjab province. The road mishap left six people killed right on the spot and injured more than 30 others. The rescue teams shifted bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital where nine more people succumbed to injuries, bringing the death toll to 15. Angry protestors set the vans on fire, following the incident, and the drivers were arrested by the police.
