Unknown gunmen sprayed a police vehicle with bullets on late Sunday night in Southern Pakistan, killing three cops and injuring two other people.
The incident took place in Latifabad area in Hyderabad city where six men on motorbikes opened indiscriminate firing on police, injuring four policemen and a passerby.
The injured were moved to a hospital where three policemen succumbed to their wounds, (Geo News) reported.
Talking to media, DIG Operation Sanaullah Abbasi said that the attack might be the backlash of army operation in North Waziristan, adding that only the police department was not responsible for acting against the terrorists.
