Pakistani Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed four terrorists involved in Moon Market bomb blast in 2009 on Sunday in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab.
According to details, the CTD conducted a raid near Lahore's Manawan area. Three terrorists also managed to escape in the raid, Geo News reported.
The dead terrorists were identified as Zubair, Abdul Wahab, Adnan and Atique. A search operation was being conducted for those who managed to escape during the raid.
Sources said that weapons were also recovered from the terrorists.
CTD officials said that the terrorists were involved in December 7, 2009’s Moon Market bomb blast.
54 people had lost their lives while more than 150 were injured in the blast.
