At least five people were killed and many others injured on Wednesday afternoon as US drone attacked in Pakistan's north-western tribal region of North Waziristan, local media reported. According to the reports, the pilot less predator plane targeted a house in the Spin Wam area of the North Waziristan, Pakistan's north-western tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Local media quoting official sources said the drone fired two missiles at a house that was allegedly being used by some suspected militants and killed five people present in the compound, leaving many others injured living in the neighboring house. The strike destroyed the compound completely and also damaged many other houses located nearby. Local people rushed to the site for rescue work as there was no official or private rescue service available in the restive region. People took out the bodies and injured from the debris of the houses and shifted them to the Tehsil hospital of the Spin Wam. Wednesday's attack is the 7th of its kind in Pakistan's north- western tribal areas in 2013. So far, U.S.drone strikes have killed 47 people since the beginning of this year.
