At least seven militants were killed on Thursday in a drone strike in Pakistan's North Waziristan, Geo TV reported.
Two missiles were fired on a house at Shawal valley by a US drone, setting the house ablaze and destroying it completely.
North Waziristan is among Pakistan's seven tribal districts near the Afghanistan border rife with homegrown insurgents and are alleged to be strongholds of Taliban and Al-Qaeda operatives, among other extremist groups.
Pakistan's military in June last year launched an operation 'Zarb-i-Azb' against Taliban militants in the region which is still continuing.
