A statement by media wing of Pakistan military, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, "Foreign militants were among the 30 who were killed when jet fighters carried out air strikes in North Waziristan's Dattakhel area." Earlier on Wednesday, at least nineteen militants were killed during air strikes in Khyber tribal agency of northern Pakistan.
The strikes are a continuation of the major offensives launched by Pakistan military against the foreign and local militants in the North Waziristan and Khyber tribal regions.
The operation 'Zarb e Azb' launched on June 15 in North Waziristan has displaced around 1 million people from the area and Pakistan military has cleared 90 percent of the tribal region.
