Two people, including a paramilitary personnel were injured in a bomb explosion near the Chinese consulate in Karachi's upmarket Clifton area on Monday. There were no reports of casualties or damage within the consulate. A car and two motorcycles were damaged by the blast, Dawn news reported. Police officials told the media that a bomb was planted on a motorcycle parked near a building located adjacent to the consulate in Clifton area of Karachi. Rescue teams and additional security personnel rushed to the site. Clifton area is where late Pakistani president Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's mansion is located.
