Six people were killed and over nine others were wounded in an explosion near a police van in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province of Pakistan, officials said on Wednesday.The Charsadda police control room confirmed that the police van was attacked during a routine patrol in Sardheri bazaar of the district.The Station House Officer Sardheri area, Hassan Khan, confirmed the death of five policemen and a child and that the police mobile van was destroyed in the attack.Security forces cordoned off the scene and carried out a probe into the incident. The injured were shifted to hospital.
