At least five people were killed and two others are still missing after fire engulfed a house in Lahore's Lohari Gate locality.
The fire, which erupted at a three-storey building, was taken under control after five hours of hectic efforts by firefighters, according to Geo TV.
Rescue personnel have retrieved five bodies and search for two missing was still underway.
Sources said the victims were all members of the same family.
The firefighters and rescue teams faced difficulties in their rescue operation due to narrow streets in the area, which is in the old and congested part of Lahore city.
