At least three suspected militants were killed and several others injured as a United States led drone attack targeted a compound in North Waziristan tribal Agency of northern Pakistan bordering Afghanistan, said local media reports on Friday. According to the initial reports, the drone fired two missiles targeting a residential compound in Angar Kalli area near Miramshah Tehsil in North Waziristan tribal area. Earlier this month, a US drone strike in the Tal area of northern province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Hangu district killed at least six people. The attack comes amid protests against the US drone attacks by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ruling alliance led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The protesters have blocked NATO supplies from and into Afghanistan and accused the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director and its station chief in Islamabad of "murdering people" in these attacks
