Pakistani Police was able to diffuse a thirteen-kilogram bomb on a roadside in Safora Chowragni, Karachi on Friday, local media reported. The bomb was found located near a school block and was disposed by a bomb disposal team, police said. Sources said the bomb was a remote-controlled as a remote control device was recovered at the scene. The bomb disposal squad told that the locally manufactured bomb resembled the ones that were used in Buffer Zone, Quaidabad and Super Highway blasts. The city of Karachi has been witnessing violence and target killing since many years.
