An operation by paramilitary in Southern Pakistani city continues for the second day on Friday where several suspects were arrested, security sources said. The operation, in Garden and Layari area of the Karachi city, was carried out against the militants after a blast on Sunday in Abbas Town killing almost 48 people; almost 10 people were killed in different violent incidents in the city on Thursday when the operation started. Rangers had surrounded the Layari area and conducted search operation on all exit points. According to local media reports, many women relatives of the arrested suspects staged protest demonstration in front of the Rangers office. Violence broke out in different areas of the city in reaction to the operation.
