Four civilians were wounded when a mortar shell fell on Sidi Hussein area in Benghazi in eastern Libya, a media official at El Galaa Hospital said Wednesday evening.
Fadia Barghathi told MENA that first aid was given to the wounded who sustained from slight to critical wounds as a result of the attack.
It was not clear who had fired the shells.
Benghazi has been one frontline in Libya's multi-sided war, with Libyan army commander Khailfa Haftar managing this year to drive militants out of the city. But fighting continues on the city outskirts.
