A Libyan military source confirmed on Sunday the death of Salah el-Ramly, a leading member of Benghazi Shoura Council forces in clashes in al-Sabri district west of Benghazi.
In a press statement, the source said Ramly is one those who fled justice and is wanted in many cases, pointing out that two of Ramly's sons were also killed.
It added that Ramly and his sons used to incite youths against army.
Al-Sabri area is witnessing fighting with heavy weapons amidst reports that the Libyan army achieved progress in fighting with Benghazi Shoura Council forces.
