A large number of Yemenis have staged a rally in Taiz City to show appreciation to the Saudi-led Arab Coalition for resorting hope to the country, providing humanitarian and relief aid and restore vital infrastructure destroyed by the Iran-allied rebel Houthi militia and the now-deposed president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Rallies in other Yemeni governorates demanded the enforcement of U.N. Security Council resolution No. 2216, release of detainees and allowing relief aid to besieged cities.
Additionally, a group of activists in Aden showed support for the coalition and noted that Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, offered sacrifices for the security and stability of the Yemeni people.
They noted that the Arab coalition's two campaign, Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope, helped restore the glory of the Arab and Muslim nations and bolster solidarity among their countries.
