At least 49 Daesh militants were killed after US-led coalition warplanes targeted their site in Mosul, an Iraqi military statement said Thursday.
Dozens of Daesh vehicles were destroyed in the raids, the statement added.
Gruesome violence has plagued the northern and western parts of Iraq since Daesh group launched an offensive in the country in June 2014, and took control of portions of Iraqi territory.
