Iraqi Sukhoi jets destroyed a convoy of Daesh vehicles in Rawah district, west of Anbar province, killing dozens of terrorists.
The jets destroyed the convey completely in the raids, the media cell of the joint operations command said in a statement on Sunday, based on information provided by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security.
On the other hand, local sources in al Sharqat region in northern Salahuddin said Daesh militants targeted civilians, including women and children, while they were fleeing from areas under the terrorist group's control in the left coast of Sharqat.
Daesh militants chased out a boat carrying people fleeing areas under the terrorist group's control, when they were crossing the Tigris River toward the liberated bank of al Sharqat district, which led to the drowning of 10 civilian Iraqis.
