Renowned Lebanese maestro Elias Rahbani
Manama - BNA

Renowned Lebanese maestro Elias Rahbani staged a thrilling musical concert marking the second anniversary of the inauguration of the Bahrain National Theatre.
The Ministry of Culture organised the musical concert as part of festivities celebrating "Year of Art 2014" and "Manama Capital of Asian Tourism 2014". Music fans converged on the theatre from all over Bahrain, to attend the "Kan Ezzaman wa Kan" concert, a musical synopsis of the renowned Lebanese maestro Elias Rahbani’s remarkable repertoire which spans over 5 decades.
The concert included enduring hits from the rich Rahbani catalogue, written and composed especially for the iconic diva Fairuz. The memorable hits were performed on stage by a 64-strong orchestra comprised of distinguished musicians and vocalists, led by Elias Rahbani himself, and including vocalists Bassima, Gilbert Jalkh and Ranya El Hag. Accompanying them is another famous member of the illustrious Rahbani family legacy, Ghassan Rahbani, who conducted on the piano a classical piece he composed entitled "Magic Symphonic Moods".
