A nationwide tour by the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Bielsko-Biala Music School from Poland, the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Premiere Music College of Prague and The State Music School of Tatarstan in Russia, commenced on Sunday following a rapturous performance at the Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in Dubai.
Now in its 11th year, the popular Emirates International Peace Music Festival invited audiences from across the UAE to watch young musicians from different countries embrace the magic of music. Part of Abu Dhabi Festival's yearly Community and Education programme organised by Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation, ADMAF, the 11th Emirates International Peace Music Festival is touring locations around the UAE including Dubai Knowledge Village, Ajman City University College, Al Ain Municipality Theatre and Abu Dhabi Theatre.
Soloists include young violinists of the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra, including the UAE's very own Ummaima Al Shunnar, Khawla Al Rayhy and Meera Ghobash as well as Hana Bouchris, the Grand Prize Winner of The 2015 GCC Competition, organised by the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra.
