In tandem with the UN celebratory honoring of His Highness the Amir, Kuwaiti Television is airing a patriotic song narrating how the name "Sabah" has become synonymous with the deep attachment to the homeland's soil.
"With the deep attachment to the land, a name has become quite precious ... Sabah the humanitarian leader, a source of pride for the homeland and its aloft stature," says the song in part, broadcast simultaneously with preparations for the UN ceremony, due in hours, to honor His Highness the Amir as "Humanitarian Leader." The song composer, Abdullah Al-Go'oud, said in remarks to KUNA that the song is granted to Kuwait to express pride in "the leader and mentor of the march (of development)." He expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Information for facilitating broadcasting of the song. (end) asm.tb.rk
