Syria
Amman - KUNA

At least 10 people, including five children, were killed by air raids of aircraft on some areas in Raqqa, northeast of Syria, which is under control of the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL), according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Sunday.
Six other people including a child were killed in Hama governorate, central Syria, by the Syrian's regime aircraft, the observatory said.
In a related development, the observatory said in a press statement Sunday that the ISIL dominated villages of Abu Hamam, Kishkiyeh, and Granij after fierce clashes between the ISIL and residents of the villages. The clashes killed and injured some of both sides.
The observatory is concerned that the ISIL could execute women and men in those areas as it had already executed at least 19 people, including men and youngmen, in Deir Al-Zour for corruption.
However, sources there told the observatory that the executed were guards and workers in oil fields there.
Such executions are considered the largest ones in Deir Az-Zour since clashes erupted last February.
The ISIL also had executed two men this month on charges of bombing two cars near its barrier in an area in the town of Miadeen.
