Units of the Syrian Armed Forces carried out operations against terrorists\' dens and gatherings in al-Nabik countryside and the Western al-Gouta in Damascus Countryside, destroying a large number of their cars along with weapons and ammunition.A military source told the Syrian Arab News Agency that the Army units killed and injured scores of terrorists in al-Atyba near the Train Station and destroyed 10 motorcycles and 5 cars along with weapons, ammunition and terrorists.The source added that another Army unit destroyed a convoy of cars loaded with large numbers of terrorists on al-Sahel- al-Mshrfia road in al-Nabik countryside, killing and injuring all terrorists inside the cars.Meanwhile, another Army unit destroyed terrorists\' dens and 8 cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in Maan valley on the East of al-Nabik.Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against the Syrian police, border guards, statesmen, army and the civilians being reported across the country.Thousands of people have been killed since terrorist and armed groups turned protest rallies into armed clashes.The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
