Lebanese artist Elissa has guest starred on the Egyptian reality talent show, Super Star, which broadcasts on Egyptian Al Haya television channel. Her appearance will be screened in October. This is the singer’s second visit to Cairo in the past two months. She has been choosing songs for her new album by meeting with poets and composers. In a telephone call with Arabstoday, Elissa expressed her happiness at returning to Egypt. “Egypt opens its arms to everyone from the Arab world.” Elissa praised the long history connecting Lebanon and Egypt through cultural and art works.
