Qalubiya Governor Mohamed Adel Dhaher said on Thursday that the laboratory tests conducted on Nile River water proved it is completely safe for human consumption.

The governor made the remarks while touring el Qanater el Khayreyya's water plant.

He ordered a daily report would be filed on water status.

An emergency committee was formed to receive citizens complains, he said.
