Saudi Arabia on Thursday intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired from Yemen over the southern city of Khamis Mushait, state media reported.

"The missile was destroyed without any casualties," the Saudi Press Agency quoted the Saudi-led coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki as saying.
