The Administrative Court at the State Council rejected a challenge presented by the board of directors of Al Ahly Club to suspend the ruling issued to annual the club's elections.
The board of Al Ahly club also appealed the decision before the Supreme Administrative court. The court will look into the appeal on Wednesday.
Earlier, a lawsuit was launched by two members of the club's general assembly, demanded the freezing of election results, saying that elections were called in a meeting that did not reach the quorum for voting.
The Administrative Court said violations were committed during the elections, and thereby rejected the results.
The elections were held in 2014 and brought a new board, led by Mahmoud Taher.
