Egyptian actor Asser Yassin has told Arabstoday that “this Ramdan will be a new birth for me, through my leading role in the show \'El Baltagy\' (The Bully)”. He added: “I\'m playing a totally different role to the ones I did before. I play a playboy who fights to earn a living”. He continued: “I hope people like it and we gain a big audience in Ramadan...its high in terms of emotional quotient, which might not suit all audiences.\" When we asked how he felt about the fierce competition between television shows this Ramadan, he said: “I don’t fear competition...I don’t even think about it, I only think about my success and how to gain audiences.” Asser Yassin is a young actor who became succesful in a relatively short period; he last appeared in the movie “Bibo we Beshir” (Bibo and Beshir) with actress Menna Shalaby.
