BBC America says it has ordered a second season of its first original scripted series \"Copper.\" Set in 19th century New York, the crime drama is produced by Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson, and stars Tom Weston-Jones and Kevin Ryan. \"Copperheads, your prayers have been answered. We\'re thrilled to announce that \'Copper\' is returning in 2013 for an all-new season,\" a message on the show\'s website said Thursday. \"In 1864, Detective Kevin Corcoran [Weston-Jones] was New York City\'s finest... but what will 1865 hold for your favorite Five Points detective?\"
