HBO says it has ordered a fifth season of its 1920s New Jersey-set mob drama \"Boardwalk Empire,\" starring Steve Buscemi. The show recently earned five Emmy Awards for Season 3, and Season 4 premiered this month. \"Thanks to Terry Winter, Martin Scorsese, Tim Van Patten, Howard Korder and their stellar team, \'Boardwalk Empire\' remains in a class by itself,\" The Hollywood Reporter quoted HBO programming President Michael Lombardo as saying Thursday. \"I look forward to another electrifying season of this impeccably crafted series.\"
