Paris - Arab Today
The French capital continues to inspire new collections from leading cosmetics makers. On the heels of Lancôme's unveiling of its French Innocence line, Chanel has revealed its own collection inspired by Parisian gardens in the spring.
With Rêverie Parisienne, the brand's Makeup Creation Studio plays upon contrasts, using a vast palette of shades ranging from coral to fuchsia and from rosewood to red.
A collection spotlighting the lips
Whether through glosses, lipsticks or liners, the mouth is decked out in intense, vibrant shades and becomes the center of attention.
The Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick is offered in two brand new colors: Insaisissable (bright coral red) and Badine (soft pink). Two new hues of the Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick are also in the mix: La Pétillante is another vibrant coral red, while La Romanesque is a dark fuchsia.
New springtime shades of the Rouge Coco Shine and Lèvres Scintillantes glosses round out the offering of lip products.
Natural complexion and eyes
The French brand has also announced the exclusive limited edition Jardin de Chanel blush compact, which combines two soft shades of pink and is embossed with a camellia, one of Gabrielle Chanel's favorite flowers.
To match the soft cheeks and balance the vibrancy of the lips, the collection offers a range of natural eyeshadow hues. The studio has come up with two new versions of the Les 4 Ombres palette: Tissé Fantaisie (coral pink, sea foam green, satin white and brown with copper highlights) and Tissé Paris (slate grey, two rosewoods and ivory).
The items in the Rêverie Parisienne line will be available from January 16.
