The luxury menswear brand will launch its first flagship this fall in Mayfair.
E. Tautz has unveiled plans for a new 2,000 sq ft (185 sq meter) flagship concept store set to open later this year. Situated on Duke Street in London's North Mayfair district, the space is the first flagship for the brand and will show off its menswear lines over two floors.
Founded in 1867 and then incorporated into Savile Row tailoring house Norton & Sons in 1968, Norton & Sons owner Patrick Grant revived the brand in 2009, and then went on to win the British menswear designer of the year at the British Fashion Awards the very next year.
With new stores from menswear specialists Rake and women's ready-to-wear label Roksanda in the works, the area is becoming a new mecca for West End luxury hunters: "North Mayfair is currently undergoing an exciting transformation and it's great to be opening our first store here," noted Grant. The new E. Tautz flagship joins concept store the Duke Street Emporium which opened in April with a mix of Jigsaw, The Shop at Bluebird and a café from Fernandez and Wells.
