1950s-style American diner chain Ed\'s Easy Diner is set to open its ninth restaurant, after it signed a deal to take on a new site at Brent Cross shopping centre in north London. It will sit adjacent to the John Lewis entrance, catering to the seven million people living within the catchment area. The 377sq ft site will cater for 12 covers within a sheltered area to the front of the counter, with additional communal space for a further 100 covers shared with the adjoining outdoor establishments. Designed by Salix Stainless Steel Fabrications, Ed\'s Brent Cross will feature highly polished stainless-steel cladding surrounding the serving hatch and full-service kitchen with high-visibility neon signage and Ed\'s signature rocket ships and rocket stream signage - designed by Admiral Signs London. Andrew Guy, director of operations of Ed\'s Easy Diner, said: \"We\'re delighted to be opening our first outdoor unit at Brent Cross, a landmark return to one of London\'s busiest shopping centres. Offering a unique ambiance, our brand of stateside specialities available for take-away, combined with our trademark service with a smile, provides customers with the perfect break in their shopping day.\"
