The owners of Taillevent, the famous restaurant near the Champs-Elysées in Paris, plan to open a new high-end brasserie in the British capital next May or June. Like its Parisian counterpart, opened in 2012, Les 110 de Taillevent in London will emphasize exceptional food and wine pairings.
Les 110 de Taillevent gets its name from the 110 wines available by the glass, a concept that will be carried over to the new location in London. On the "sommelier" menu, each of the 30 dishes offered -- from appetizers to dessert and cheese -- appears next to a list of four recommended wines in different price ranges.
Interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, who created the decor at the Parisian location, will also design the interior of the new London restaurant.
In Paris, Les 110 de Taillevent is located on the Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré in the eighth arrondissement. The wine brasserie has room for 70 diners and is open seven days a week. Prices start at €44 per person for a three-course fixed price menu.
