Created by french designer Philippe Starck for Baccarat, the “Marie Coquine” standing lamp sets a crystal chandelier into an umbrella suspended in mid-air, layering imagery and textures in a display both imaginative and functional.The chandelier is made of crystal, plastic and an umbrella. Such a lamp is not simple; it will match just art deco interiors or maybe surrealistic ones. It’s not only a chandelier; it’s almost an art object. This chandelier gives some feeling of warmness thanks to the umbrella with a wooden hand.  Marie Coquine’ is produced in a limited edition set of 120 pieces.
