Warhaus is an ambitious residential project designed by Residential Attitudes in Perth, Australia, to emphasise the need of man to rediscover the outdoors. The house boasts a central courtyard, a mezzanine walkway and an open plan living room. An exterior suspended metallic staircase defines the house’s industrial look. Bright and uncluttered, the Warehaus mixes timber, stone, concrete and metal. Definitely one complex project, this vivid and dynamic dwelling, was designed for multi-generational living. “The free form living area features a central polished plaster ethanol fireplace and is adjacent to the state of the art kitchen with a concealed cool room and pantry. The remainder of the ground floor is comprised of a library, powder room, laundry and a separate master wing with dressing room, ensuite and private courtyard.” The bedrooms are located at the upper floor. All the rooms are very luminous and are nicely decorated. Despite the fact that the exterior mixes all sorts of materials, from metal to wood, the interior is neat and yes, nothing but gorgeous! Each upper room has its very own terrace. White is the dominant colour, but there are also other neutral colours that define the each room. Wood complements the neutral palette and it brings a little bit of warmth inside. Source: freshome
