An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted 4km NW of Balingasay, Philippines at 13:40:06 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 23.48 km, was initially determined to be at 16.3814 degrees north latitude and 119.8242 degrees east longitude.
