Beijing - XINHUA
The Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) has announced the resignation of its president "for personal reasons".
Zhang Yun has filed a letter to resign from his posts as the bank's deputy chairman, executive director and president, and board chairman Liu Shiyu will temporarily take his place as president, according to an ABC statement issued late on Friday.
The ABC saw its profits up just 0.57 percent year on year in the first three quarters of 2015, the slowest pace among China's big four state-owned banks.
