A new bill on national parks is still being probed at the State Council, said Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy on Saturday.

The Cabinet had approved the bill in July 2015, Fahmy told MENA.

He made it clear that the draft law is about the economic management of national parks. 

"We have a plan to upgrade national parks and the volume of investments has already been estimated," Fahmy added.
