A Michigan woman says a wild turkey nicknamed Godzilla has been prowling outside her home and attacking her when she goes outside. Edna Geisler, 69, of Commerce, said the turkey wanders into her yard every morning around 7 a.m. and returns to the nearby woods around 7 p.m., the Detroit Free Press reported Monday. \"I\'m afraid to go out of my house,\" Geisler said. \"I have to go to the post office at 6 o\'clock in the morning to avoid him.\" Geisler said she is hoping the bird is gone by summer so she can work in her garden. \"Every time I eat turkey I smile,\" she said. \"I\'d like to do that to him.\" Tim Payne, a wildlife supervisor for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, said the turkey is aggressive because it believes it is defending its territory from Geisler. He recommended she chase him off with an umbrella until he stops coming to her property.
