China\'s automobile exports rose about 50 percent on-year in the first five months of this year, indicating growing demand for Chinese cars from overseas, an industry report said Tuesday. According to the report by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, China\'s overseas shipments of vehicles reached 298,800 units in the January-May period, up 53.8 percent from a year earlier.
