Kia Motors Corp., South Korea\'s second-largest automaker, said Thursday that three of its cars have earned eco-friendly certifications that could bolster sales down the road. The carmaker, which sold more than 917,000 vehicles worldwide in the first seven months of this year, said its Optima mid-size sedan, Picanto small city car and all-new Rio subcompact won the life cycle assessment (LCA) environmental certification from TUV NORD Group, a German product consulting and technical service firm.
