Sales of imported vehicles in South Korea rose 4.1 percent in August from a year earlier, helped by new car models and importers\' aggressive marketing, a trade association said Tuesday. A total of 9,116 imported vehicles were sold here last month, compared with 8,758 units sold a year earlier, according to the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association (KAIDA). Sales in August also rose 2.9 percent from the previous month, the association said.
