A UAE client has commissioned America’s Scagliarini Motorsports to create a special all-wheel drive Abarth Fiat 500 for his private collection. The customer is anonymous, but we do know that the car is based on the Fiat 500 Coupè Zagato, which has the added benefit of an Abarth chassis. Scagliarini Motorsports, based in Boulder, Colorado, accepted the client’s unique request, filling the Zagato’s rear windows, adding an Abarth chassis as well as all wheel drive. The name of the specially commissioned model thus becomes Scaglairini 504 Coupè Zagato Elaborata, the ‘4’ standing for the number of driven wheels. As for the Elaborata part, that’s a reference to the famous Fiat 8V Elaborata by Zagato. The Scagliarini 504czè will receive the company\'s carbon fibre parts designed specifically for the Abarth 500, with other upgrades including Esseesse components, Abarth Alcantara seats, Brembo brakes, and a Ragazzon performance exhaust. And because you must be wondering about the 4x4 transmission underneath, that comes from the Fiat Panda 4x4, which includes a locking differential. As per the mystery customer’s request, the car will be finished in a Lamborghini Arancio, and may still feature a removable roof. The engine is the Multiair 1.4-litre four-pot turbo, making 180bhp and 230-250Nm of torque. Since it’s all-wheel drive, the only gearbox available is a five-speed manual, plus Scagliarini will also throw in a roll cage, Koni suspension, and 17in OZ wheels with Pirelli rubber.
