North Korean girls use mobile phones in a park in Pyongyang

North Korea has banned all foreigners from using high-speed wireless, or Wi-Fi, Internet access in the country, China's state media reported Wednesday, in an apparent move to make it impossible for North Koreans to gain unrestricted access to the global Internet.
In a dispatch from Pyongyang, China's Xinhua news agency said "nearly all foreign embassies, international organizations and other foreigners working in the country" were notified of the ban last week.
