Anna Wintour showed her spontaneous side Wednesday on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
The 65-year-old Vogue editor in chief appeared in a sketch where she is revealed as the mastermind behind the NBC late night talk show. The bit sees Meyers attempt to win the style maven's approval before breaking down in tears.
Wintour was made Vogue editor in chief in 1988, and became artistic director for the magazine's publisher, Condé Nast, in 2013. She is highly respected for her fashion expertise, but often perceived as having a cold and aloof demeanor.
Meyers came to fame as a writer and star on NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, and replaced Jimmy Fallon as the Late Night host in 2014. Fallon left the program to succeed Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
