The house of representatives approved in its ninth session eight decisions of laws issued while the parliament was suspended.

The reports of these laws were prepared by the education and scientific research committee.

The parliament, under Speaker Ali Abdel Aal, approved a decision issued by the president on law number 15 for the year 2014 to amend the rulings of the universities' law number 49 for the year 1972.
